How many tattoo removal sessions will I need?
The number of sessions varies based on several factors, including the size, color, depth, age of the tattoo, and your body’s immune response. Most clients require 6–8 sessions for optimal fading or removal, though some tattoos may need more or fewer treatments.
What kind of results can I expect?
Results depend on the tattoo and individual healing response. While complete removal cannot be guaranteed, we typically see 90% clearance. The remaining pigment may depend on factors such as the original tattoo artist’s technique (if they scarred the skin), ink composition, and your immune system’s ability to clear the ink particles.
Why can’t you guarantee 100% removal?
Some tattoo inks contain ingredients or metals that are resistant to laser energy, as well as non-ink pigment caused by trauma during the tattoo. Additionally, the body’s lymphatic system plays a key role in clearing ink fragments, which varies from person to person. For these reasons, we set realistic expectations and aim for the best possible outcome rather than overpromising.
How does PicoSure tattoo removal work?
PicoSure uses ultra-short picosecond laser pulses to shatter tattoo ink into tiny particles. These particles are then naturally removed by your body’s immune system over time, resulting in gradual fading of the tattoo.
